Flights of Fancy

I always enjoy watching the little humming birds in the summer. I wanted to create a special design to pay tribute to these amazing little birds.

Sweetness -

I was asked to design and think of a piece that would be an appropriate gift for an around the clock baby shower for the mother-to-be. The lady that made the request had to take a gift that would work for 3:00 AM. I chose to paint on a beside water carafe. I hope that as this new Mommy settles back into her bed and reaches for a drink of water that she will smile as she is reminded of the "Sweetness" that awakened her....

Fields of Flowers -

Here's the field of flowers that surrounds that French Country Cottage. A vast, lush field of grasses, irises, daisies, and wild flowers fill your senses and take you to a place of warmth and peace. Playful dragonflies remind you to enjoy God's gifts of beauty as often as you can...

"French Country"

Can you see the country cottage nestled in a field of wild flowers, surrounded by majestic mountains and quiet streams?....An old, but very beautiful barn in the distance?...

White linens and overflowing vases?....

That's what I saw when I created this pattern. I hope that it evokes an image of

French Country that is as pleasing to your spirit as it is to mine. Enjoy!

"Good Morning"

What a wonderful feeling when you wake up and it is indeed a "Good Morning!" This pattern includes wild roses and rose buds, sunflowers, pansies, marigolds, white filler flowers, greenery and dragonflies. They are all swirled together in a magical mix reminding us that God's mercies are new every morning. Thank you, Jesus!

I have acquired a number of beautiful, authentic wooden cigar boxes that I am painting, sealing, adding brass feet, and making artglass/lampwork/wooden bead handles. These cube boxes are the perfect size for the large ornament and they make a lovely set. My painting goes all around the boxes - even on the top and bottom - so it is richly detailed! These will be available until I can no longer find the supplies.
